A Cookie Haiku
Cookies seem to be
The gooey, warm, and chewy
Way to find smiles.
And I would add: "Especially my own!" But that would make it a Haiku no longer.
A person's history is in the way they view the world. That's where truth is. As Dumbledore said, "Of course it's in your head but why should that make it any less real?"
WOW that is some goal! I think it's a GREAT one and you should be really good at them and everyone will want them. Pratice makes perfect and I think you will have a lot of pratice up ahead:)
ReplyDeleteI'll take 'em any way you make 'em
ReplyDeleteI don't want to discorage you with numbers or anything but that's about 55 cookies every day for the whole year!
ReplyDeleteDon't be a doubter.
ReplyDeleteYes yes yes!!!! Dark chocolate all the way, baby! I'd be happy to help you meet your 20,000 cookie goal! :) -Rico
ReplyDeletewow that is a lot of cookies..i like the ones with white chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate...maybe i need to help you reach this goal!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to try a bunch of different things. Milk chocolate, semi-sweet, toffee bits, peanut butter chips, and perhaps white chocolate too now :)
ReplyDeletenope. i think you should pick just one kind of cookie and make 20,000 of those. you won't get tired of that or anything...
ReplyDeleteLove the new background. Very English-major-esque. And I would add gingersnaps to your list, because Grandpa's recipe is so yummy.
ReplyDeleteAnd now I should get back to grading instead of procrastinating by reading blogs . . .
I don't want to necessarily be a voice of reason (because I would love to be a recipient of said cookies), but wasn't your immediate post before this one about "Giving up Candy and Crap?"
ReplyDeleteHere's to baking!
Candy and soda! And I rarely eat my own cookies. I'll be giving like 95% of them away.
